I had a wonderful stay at the Farneholm Annex Cottage. The location was absolutely amazing, with stunning views of the sea and a beautiful beach just a short walk away. The layout of the apartment was impressive, with toilets both upstairs and downstairs, making it very convenient. The Craster Arms, a nearby restaurant, served delicious meals with generous portions. The communication with the hosts was excellent, and the comfortable bed with crisp clean bedding made for a great night's sleep. I also appreciated the smart TV, which allowed me to do yoga in front of the stunning sunrise. The outside tap was a thoughtful addition for washing dog paws and boots after a visit to the beach. I had a fantastic time exploring the coast and enjoying the peacefulness of the area.

The view over the sea was beautiful, and despite being in a quiet area, it was easy to walk to the beach, shops, and village. The cleanliness of the cottage was exceptional, and we loved that it was dog-friendly without any doggy smells or hairs. A truly enjoyable holiday experience.

The location of this accommodation is superb, with a central position near the beautiful Beadnell beach and local pubs. The balcony offers stunning views of the sea, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The shower is also top-notch, providing a luxurious bathing experience. The fully equipped kitchen and the cozy sitting room with its fabulous views make for a pleasant stay.
The property, unfortunately, could be cleaner, with some guests finding a blood stain on the mattress protector upon departure. The pillows were reported to be uncomfortable, and the outside areas were not well-maintained.

Great location, just a short walk to the sandy beach and with stunning views of the sea. The apartment was attractively furnished and felt homely. The balcony was a good size and provided a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the view.
The freezer was unusable due to ice build-up, and the bedroom furniture was old and mismatched. The bed was too soft and the room felt claustrophobic.

The cottage itself had everything we needed for a short stay, and the cozy bed ensured a comfortable night's sleep. My partner and I had a wonderful time staying at Farneholm Annex in Beadnell. We were there for a four-night getaway and it was the perfect place to relax and explore the area. The apartment itself was unique and charming, with a reverse layout that had the bedroom downstairs and the kitchen, dining, and lounge area upstairs. The bed was comfortable and the shower was fantastic - powerful and plenty of room. The highlight was definitely the view from the lounge that opened up onto the decking - we were lucky enough to see dolphins swim past one morning. the location was quiet and the facilities were great - nothing not to like. A minor detail would be to provide some washing up liquid and dishwasher blocks, but that's just a suggestion. We would definitely recommend this property and have already booked to stay again.
Do recommend this hotel.

great location, well-furnished property with everything you needed. the little extras made the stay, tea, coffee, hand soap, loo rolls, etc. not always provided in self-catering. loved the nearby Craster Arms and the dog-friendly atmosphere. perfect for exploring the area and beautiful sea views from the apartment.
No basics provided, like washing liquid, loo roll, tea towel, bin liners. had to go straight to shops after a long car journey.
